In order to really get the concept of the game, yeah, pay the $42. You can play the demo to try and get a better grasp of it, but practicing on custom tracks and new models with accurate dyno's is a huge step up.

This game makes me want to punch my computer... lol, naw I just cut it off, the pc cost to much to build.... ive got alot better since i started playing a few months ago, but still crash way to much. I've been practicing on the 2013 A1 track when I do play it and now my best time is a 1:12:0. I think my problem is the gamestop 360 controller, what controller are you using?

I don't think its possible to play with the keyboard.... maybe on arcade, but then you can't throw whips.
