My cousins introduced me to Gran Turismo. They showed me both 1 and 2, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. The car that caught my eye the most was the New Edge Ford Mustang and it would stick with me as a favorite go-to car for pretty much most of my racing game time, so I spent a lot of time driving the SVT Cobra R in games. This past April, I found a 2000 Ford Mustang GT in my favorite color and in decent enough condition to easily fix up for only $2300. Six year old me would have gone absolutely crazy knowing that one day, that car that he really liked would eventually be his to own one day. And I have Gran Turismo to thank for that. Jesus, I actually teared up a bit typing that.

The R.A.T. mouse was not originally from MadCatz. MadCatz bought Saitek, and that mouse was part of a "Cyborg" series of components. I had an original Saitek branded RAT 9. Loved it in concept but they used a bad laser sensor that just ruined the whole experience. The swapping batteries (which were a first back then), were hands down the coolest feature. Second favorite aspect, the core frame beneath those spaced out surfaces was actually made of metal. It felt solid and heavy. Nolan’s nod to Miles Davis, Bitches Brew, shout out was key! It’s an album designed, for beatnicks and listeners to kick back, relax and vibe with, an smoke along to. I highly recommend trying it...The live version of the Bitches Brew album is a whole other animal entirely, Its an acquired taste. I have found that casual music listeners, find it unsettling and get almost agitated by experiencing hearing it, they throw the towel in early at the warm up tuning phase, hit stop or eject and never get to behold the 720 and McTwists, that are found on the Miles Davis Fillmore East live shows, where Miles and company, running kick it up several notches, really runs the voodoo down, all dark and heavy something similar to prehistoric death metal jazz instrumental, Miles shrieks through his trumpet, like a angry Elephant in musk, trample rampaging at you. Miles Davis at the wheel, manning the controls, conducting the build up, and driving his ferocious band along, like a sorted Ferrari, with a gated manual shifter, turning on a dime, then zipping off, trading off solo’s, and nailing it, propelling them selves on to even further heights, through improvisation, while running through the Bitches Brew album live...When Miles initially debuted the Bitches Brew material to shocked audiences, it was referred to as Heart Attack Jazz, because when Miles Davis his scary band, sent it out to a bewildered crowd full of folk music fans, of a young Bob Seeger. Several of these hippies at the show, possibly took something, heard Miles caught the fear, and suffered Pokémon like seizures, from the syncopated polyrhythms, and went into shock suffering sensory overload heart attacks! Miles Davis’s, Bitches Brew, album is very dark heavy experience indeed, take precautions. LoL...8)
