Keep an eye out for your own potential case of mythomania coz she did not say anything like that. The thing is, Faouzia's music and singing is based on the 12-note scale of the Western system. She does not use the Arabic 'quartertones' You need to know many Arabic or Persia modes have intervals that cannot be categorized into either of two categories: 'tones' or 'semitones.' A quartertone is half a semitone wide. Arabic modes do not exactly use the interval one quartertone wide by itself, but present intervals of 3 quartertones. This is why we hear neutral thirds in Arabic music, whereas in the Western system only uses major and minor ones Aslo hope you don't confuse melisma with vibrato

I would recommend that you watch her performances from Singer 2024. She actually learns 2 songs in Chinese (Mandarin) and KILLS it. RIP Love is a great highlight, too, but all of those performances are amazing!
