He puts the screws on upside down in the video. Refer to the directions

What if there is a 1" gap from railing to door? Instructions specify 1/2"

Im installing mine right now and i'm having issues with the same thing (door hangs a bit too low from track) and having to make shims so this soft close will actually catch. I thought this would be a quick install but not so much
