I wish the music/videos stayed like this. The more "mainstream" ones are okay for a single, but they aren't as good as this. Also, I think his look is better here, compared to the wild hair/unkept look. Even looking at the new video/song Grabba Leaf.. it reminds me of something you'd hear overplayed on the radio and not in a good way. At least this song changes tempo/style while sounding totally different/unique (and in terms of rapping, there is more content/context than those other songs that are simply verse/hook/verse/hook/end -- I mean Grabba Leaf is like 2min w/ little actual rapping). Idk. I wish the music would've stayed on this route. Like I think of T.I. for example. He made songs where he displayed his skill+ear for music w/ awesome bass in the beginning. Even songs like Motivation... but then you see where he went and it turned into "Whatever You Like" and all that crappy overplayed on the radio crap. Granted, there are lots of people that prefer to be indoctrinated w/ the same old crap over and over. Not me though. I thought songs like this one and Burn It Down were unique, had amazing bass, and... well this one had more in the context dept (Burn It Down is just talking about ladies on his dick, so as I guy it's not something I want to go cruising around blasting on a system). But that is the kind of stuff that should help make the song. Some of the witty lines, w/ unique rhythms and styles of saying it.. deep, repeating bass lines that hold the notes (to make subwoofers go fn crazy) and the context that another person can relate to... not just "I did drugs, bitches want my dick, etc". Although that is in most of the songs here.. I feel there is a TON of potential to make it on his own.. and not have to work w/ some corrupt @ss label.. but if he can avoid that... why make the "Whatever You Like" style songs? I mean.. When the Drugs Dont work related w/ people, had witty lines, and it had decent bass lines. That was not too bad. But there are some videos where I am saying.. "Nah I don't care for this direction". And the look-changing isn't bad.. but I feel this look has a more "relatable" feel.

Idk if you're into the same thing (w/ the stuff mentioned above) but one person that did what I felt was important in their music, was Tom MacDonald. Idk if you've ever heard of him, but he blew up on his own and he's got some deep meaning in some of songs.
