Friendly reminder that the composer wrote this song in response to a particularly vivid Being Chased Nightmare and honestly nothing has ever caught those vibes better.
@tobyparker32302 жыл бұрын
omg as someone who has that as almost all my nightmares, i get that. you're going to sleep, nothing too bad. you "wake up" and you're in the city (for me) and you can sense something is wrong but you dont know what. you walk down the never ending street and you feel someone watching you, but you see no one. things slowly start escalating (you hear things, see things, feel things, etc.) until you finally notice the person behind you. you speed up and then run from them, running running running then BOOM you're up.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate just how long this would’ve taken to make. All the blocks were made precisely in time with the beat and all the curves and stuff are really hard to predict meaning the creator probably had to do weeks or even months of trial and error to get some of this right.
@loryruta2149 Жыл бұрын
It's VERY likely that the guy has a tool that permits him to see at every instant where the rider is and hopefully able to play the music starting from that instant. This way he doesn't have to play the music back from the start to place the next lines but can start at a midpoint and maybe see even what the rider's trajectory will be in the next time instants after the breakpoint. In my opinion this guy is a programmer or has a programmer friend that helped him with this 😅

that seems a bit heavy for second graders o_O Second Grade is the second year of school, so kids that are 7 or 8 years old, yes?
@danielbueno84747 жыл бұрын
They might not be able to play it perfectly, of course, but the simple fact that they'll be (I hope so) having fun with classical music is going to make some good childhood memories from pieces of art like this. Aside from the fact that they'll learn to give a chance to other things than only mainstream music (not that there's anything partcularly wrong with listening to mainstream music, it's just good to have an open mind even in simple stuff like this).

The awesome thing about creating a Line Rider track is that the same thing happens every time you run it (compared, of course, to building a machine) so when you get something really neat to happen you can make it happen every time you run it through and modify as needed while keeping everything else the same
@Chrnan67107 жыл бұрын
The lines all appear black when the track is being played, but in the editor mode, they appear different colors based on their purpose. Blue is neutral, red is acceleration, and green is scenery (doesn't interact with the sledder). You can change the length and direction of the red track in order to control which way the sledder rotates and lands.
