Consistent text size and placement always look polished and professional. Doodly makes that simple in the text settings panel. We also like to use the "enter animation" set to "none" for scene backgrounds and select props or text. We then focus on drawing a few key elements or sometimes key text. It keeps the animation moving. Thanks for the ongoing updates, Doodly!

Always learning something from these videos! I didn't know that you could change the font size inside the asset settings. I also liked the hint to keep the font size and location the same across scenes/slides.

Definitely going to use the eraser option for end of the slide show, it will add something different. It will especially be great for when your next slide has the same text so then the first character is erased and a new one is drawn it its place.

Hi - I am trying to erase a text box at a specific time in a scene rather than just at the end of the scene. How can I do so without having to put something over the top? Thank you.

very good tutorial! I appreciated the share function is explained. I would however explain that if you are importing SVG files that you have to watch out in case of too many paths being drawn by an intricate one as it can force the app to crash. it might be a good idea to mention a safe amount of paths as a maximum! Other than that everything else was great!

great Tutorials! MORE please.....quick question, as i import SVG files, is there a methodology to storing them? it seems it takes forever for me to find my characters/props...even the ones I purchased from Doodly - thanks in advance!

Hi Ken! We would recommend renaming them with a keyword that you can easily pull up when you use the search function.

Great video, thank you! If you have two assets on top of each other and erase one of them, it also erases part of the asset that was behind it. Is there a way to erase one asset so the other isn't affected?
@doodlyofficial60333 жыл бұрын
Hi Frank! At this time, Doodly works as if you're writing on an actual board wherein if you erase something on top of an image, it also affects whatever is behind when you erase it.

I have a question for you regarding using Doodly for making videos for educational purposes such as for lectures and posting on a Learning Management System such as Canvas or Moodle or Blackboard. Do we need to follow any certain copyright laws. How can we reference you as the creator of the video platform or is it necessary. I would make my own videos just using your video maker program.

One question: if I want to create a video using Doodly and Toonly, do I have to use an external software? I think it is a shame not being able to mix them both having the same owners. How it is now, I have to use another software to create my videos... :(
@doodlyofficial60333 жыл бұрын
As of now we do not support video importing into the software. However since all projects are exported in video format, you may use a video editing tool like Windows Movie Maker or anything similar to combine your doodly or toonly project with another video. You may also convert your video clip into a GIF and import it as a moving image to be used in your scenes. Kindly contact support@doodly.com for more guidance.

Help please. Is it possible to adjust the pane size bottom/left/right? Panes are taking almost the whole screen and the draw area is very small. Thank you.

Hi! Yes you certainly can collapse the widows on the left and the right by clicking on the small arrows. You may also want to check on your screen resolution to adjust the size. Kindly contact support@doodly.com if you need further guidance on how to do so. Thank you!

Am not sure I understand what invert is for....
@doodlyofficial60333 жыл бұрын
Hi! There are certain instances where you would want to invert the colors of an image to better fit the background. This is mostly true for some black and white images when using a blackboard or greenboard background. If you need further clarification with this, kindly feel free to contact support@doodly.com as we are always happy to assist! Thank you.
