To be fair, the fact that the phone endured submersion and then dropped as a block of ice onto cement twice, only to have a slight water-lock of the speakers and condensation in the camera is beyond a best scenario. If you tried this with any mainstream phones or phones without such armor they'd have cracked screens and bricked motherboards. I'd say this would be the type of phone you'd use for a couple to several years before you seek an upgrade.

To be honest I really cant see how the ice test is a testament to its durability. I know people do it alot in these videos but surely having the phone coated in a think layer of ice that shatters on impact would make it significantly more durable.

It is interesting that the ice remained stuck on the exact location where the wireless charging and NFC is located... I wonder if there are tiny holes to allow the signals to pass through...

s96 pro doesnt have auto focus in video recording. u always have to touch the screen.. what about this ??

Currently in the market for a replacement for my good old Oukitel WP5, not in a hurry tho, but the new stuff aren't convincing me enough to choose them. The Oukitel WP10, Ulefone Armor 10 (not a fan of how they just made the Armor 11 sort of a weird sidegrade of the 10 IMO) and the Blackview BL6000 Pro. Any idea if Doogee is gonna enter the chat soon? Imagine this with a Dimensity 800 and UFS storage. Doogee S88 MAX 👌

that's all great, but I can't figure out how to ANSWER AN INCOMING PHONE CALL on this thing! tried everything I can think of, but it cuts off the call every time. damn thing is useless as a TELEPHONE~ nothing in the manual or any videos to explain this.

Just bought this and returned after one day. GPS is so inaccurate, ridiculous.. if you navigate with this you will probably end up in China only... Bluetooth disconnects and reconnects every 1-2 mins... If you buy it, Maybe you should just put it in freezer forever and never use it... Crap!

Nice review, Not a big fan of that ice test though!! there is no point other then entertaining the viewers and there is no practicality in doing this test to be honest, its not like we live in the F@ north pole, but overall its an ok review , I would have liked to see some useful tests like battery test, performance test, WIFI test, gaming test (you know what real smart reviews are suppose to contain) but I guess you where too busy freezing the device!! too bad it does not support 5G, I would have ordered it ASAP

Well this is the only device I ever do this type of extreme test to. Watch anyone of my review videos and you get the standard review that you are saying I haven’t done here. But this series has always been fun to test in this way so I take full advantage to do it.
