Dook Larue - Heartaches

Another update! I have gotten boots for him now, and I have placed one of them here as you may see. More importantly is the fact that I have the high hat stand's cylinder working now after a rebuild, so I should only have to rebuild one more cylinder before he's fully restored! I'm excited to be this close, though I think I'm going to focus on Beach Bear next as Dook still needs a bit more work that will require more hands on stuff, I'd like to give Beach Bear some time as well before moving onto that. Anyways, I also adjusted Dook's other ear flow in order to allow it to move more, so now both ear levers are fully functional. I also have taped down one of the legs on the crash cymbal as a temporary fix for the constant falling down of the crash cymbal. Anyways, a Beach Bear update should be next once I get around to doing more for him.

Your supposed to bolt the boots to the petal that’s why it’s coming off

I thought the same originally. Turns out, it’s supposed to sit on the pedal and held in by the pressure between the foam leg being attached to the body shell. I’m using custom mounts for the foam legs currently so the position on them isn’t perfect, it’s almost certainly the reason the boot wouldn’t stay on the pedal. I’ll find a solution for now, though once I get proper leather guards for the legs, it’ll be fine.
