The New Roles: Crew Investigative Roles - Trapper: Can set traps during the round. At the next meeting, they receive a report containing the roles of all players who walked through the trap... In theory. Neutral Killing Roles - Plaguebearer: Becomes Pestilence /somehow/ - Pestilence: Invincible and if you interact with them you die. Unknown win condition. - Werewolf: Has "rampages" or short spans of time in which they can kill multiple times. Neutral Evil Roles - Arsonist (updated): The arsonist can interact with players during the round to Douse them. Once 5 players have been doused, the arsonist can ignite them, killing them all. This no longer kills the arsonist and ends the game. Modifiers - Blind: Your report button does not light up ALL OLD ROLES Crewmate Killing Roles • Sheriff: Can kill only impostors. If the Sheriff shoots another crewmate, the Sheriff will die and the crewmate will be left unharmed. Does not display a lunge. Will trigger Bait self-report. • Veteran: The veteran has an alert state which, when active, will kill any player that interacts with the veteran, including other crewmates (medic, tracker). • Vigilante: The vigilante can kill impostors in a meeting by guessing their role. If they guess incorrectly, they will die. Crewmate Investigative Roles • Investigator: The Investigator can see the colored footprints of other players in the round. The footprints disappear after a set amount of time. When the players are grayed out, the footprints gray out. • Spy: The Spy can see the colors of the players on the admin table and how long players have been dead on vitals. When the players are grayed out, their color is not visible on the admin table. • Snitch: If the snitch completes all of their tasks, the impostors will be highlighted in red. Neutral evil/killing roles will not be highlighted. The Snitch will be highlighted for the impostors after the Snitch completes their second-to-last task. • Seer: The Seer can interact with a player to learn if a player is good or evil and/or who their teammates are, but the Seer’s role is revealed to the player they interact with. • Haunter: Any crewmate can become the Haunter upon death. If they complete all of their tasks, the impostors are revealed to the remaining crew. Players (including crew) can click on the ghost of the haunter as it moves about the map, removing its ability and causing it to become a normal dead player. • Tracker: The Tracker is a Crewmate that can track other players by interacting with them during a round. Once they track someone, an arrow is continuously pointing to them, which updates in set intervals. • Mystic: The Mystic briefly gets a notification when a player dies and briefly gets an arrow pointing in the direction of the body. Crewmate Protective Roles • Medic: The Medic can give any player a shield that will make them immortal during rounds until the Medic dies. A Shielded player cannot be Shifted into, Hacked or Killed by anyone, unless by suicide. If the Medic reports a dead body, they can get a report containing clues to the Killer's identity. A report can contain the name of the killer or the color type (Darker/Lighter) • Altruist: The altruist can interact with a dead body, reviving the player and taking their own life (after a delay in which a meeting can be called, killing both the player and the altruist). Crewmate Support Roles • Swapper: The Swapper can swap the votes on 2 players during a meeting. All the votes for the first player will instead be counted towards the second player and vice versa. • Engineer: The Engineer can fix sabotages from anywhere on the map. They can also travel using vents. • Time Lord: Can rewind time and reverse the positions of all players. Any players killed during this time will be revived. The Time Lord can't use Vitals to make things more balanced. Time rewinds do not affect cooldowns or countdowns. • Mayor: The mayor can abstain from voting during their meeting, which adds their vote to a bank. As long as not everyone has voted, the mayor can apply votes saved in their bank to a single player. • Medium: The medium has an ability that allows them to see the ghosts of dead players when active. They cannot hear the ghost if proximity chat is applied. Neutral Evil Roles • Executioner: The executioner wins if their (randomly assigned) target is voted out during a meeting. • Jester: The Jester wins if they are voted out during a meeting. • Phantom: The Phantom is a neutral haunter. If it completes all of its tasks, it wins. If it gets clicked, it becomes a normal dead player. Neutral Benign Roles • Survivor: The survivor can win with either the impostors or the crew by staying alive until the end of the round. The survivor cannot win with neutral roles. The Survivor has a temporary shield. • Amnesiac: The Amnesiac has no win condition. The amnesiac can interact with a dead body to assume its role. • Guardian Angel: The Guardian Angel has an ability which temporarily shields their (randomly assigned) target. The Guardian Angel wins with the faction of its target. Neutral Killing Roles • Glitch: The Glitch can disguise as other players for a set amount of time and can hack players to stop them from reporting bodies, performing tasks, or jumping in holes. • Arsonist (ORIGINAL): The Arsonist can interact with players during the round to douse them. Once all players have been doused, the arsonist can kill everyone (including itself) to win the game. Impostor Killing Roles • Poisoner: The player can interact with a player during the round to kill them after a set amount of time (or at the start of the next meeting). • Underdog: The Underdog has a longer than normal kill cooldown while their partner is alive, and a shorter than normal cooldown once all other impostors have died. • Traitor: If both impostors die before a certain point in the game, a random crewmate is selected to become Traitor. The traitor has no special abilities. Impostor Concealing Roles • Grenadier: The Grenadier can throw smoke grenades, temporarily blinding crewmates (and benign neutrals?). The Grenadier and the impostors can see through the smoke to kill players. • Swooper: The swooper can temporarily become invisible • Morphling: Every round, the Morphling can choose a player to sample. Once sampled, the morpling can disguise itself as that player for a set amount of time. Impostor Support Roles • Janitor: The Janitor can kill and clean up (remove) dead bodies. Both their Kill and Clean ability have a shared cooldown, meaning they have to choose which one they want to use. • Miner: The miner can create new vents that are connected to each other (not to existing vent passages). • Undertaker: The undertakers can drag dead bodies across the map to hide them. • Blackmailer: The Blackmailer can interact with players during the round to silence them during the next meeting Modifiers • Bait: Will force their murderer too call a meeting (called a bait self-report) • Diseased: Will reduce the kill cooldown of the player that kills them • Torch: Has impostor vision • Button Barry: Can call a meeting from anywhere on the map • Drunk: Has inverted game controls • Flash: Has increased moving speed • Giant: Very large and very slow. • Sleuth: The Sleuth can see the roles of bodies they report • Tiebreaker: If a tie happens in a meeting, whomever the Tiebreaker voted for is voted out (unless the tiebreaker votes for someone who isn’t part of the tie) • Lovers: Lovers are two players who are linked together. If one dies, the other will spontaneously commit suicide. Lovers are chosen at random. If the lovers are in the final three, they win. This is the only modifier with a win condition.

Plaguebearer becomes Pestilence after all living players have been infected. They can either infect people directly or if the people already infected interact with other players, those players also become infected.

Pestilence is a *really* fun role, but it's definitely OP (2:38:00 1:40:20 2:14:08) - I definitely think Pestilence should still be guessable in meetings, but idk if that would be enough to balance it. I love the fact that it spreads thru other players interacting w/ each other & gives you a Veteran protection tho tbh, so I kinda hope they keep that in even if it's too strong lol. 2:54:53 3:00:01 I would love to see a game w/ Plaguebearer-Blackmailer Lovers to see how quickly they can become Pestilence lol (since the BM can interact w/ ppl w/out a CD).

Trapper is a fun role - it seems kinda tricky to balance tho (i.e. you either get no info or *all* the info lol), & definitely takes some getting used to lol. Jeremy often dropped traps in weird locations (2:21:57), & ran around them (probably to avoid getting killed), but he needs ppl to be in the trap for at least 1s (2:19:54), & preferrably more than one person so he doesn't waste a single trap - a better strategy would probably be drop a trap on a group of ppl (2:15:02 2:17:49), or lead ppl into the traps lol (2:17:55 2:56:11).
