Using a Razer tartarus keyboard with a joystick so to keeps things short:
1) I move with only my left thumb using the joystick
2) I jump with my right thumb as a side button of my mouse
3) All weapon swaps happen entirely on the keyboard

Can you give some explanation on what doom eternal does better than doom 2016 and what doom 2016 does better than eternal and how they could improve if there was a new doom.

Eternal simply has much better combat loop, 2016 barely has one to be honest. I don't even think it can be radically improved, it could only be tweaked at most (weapon balance, certain enemies...) otherwise they would make a completely different game design wise

lol no I wasn't being sarcastic, 2016 is totally fine. I would never spend as much time on it as I did with Eternal but that doesn't mean it's bad at all
