Speaking of having some notoriety from the MtG scene, I think the first time I heard Jeff’s name was watching Sean Plott (Day[9]) play during Snaps beta and reference the things he had been learning from watching Jeff.

Was wondering if we would see a Jeff MTG return with some of the unbans. Doubt it but a brewer could hope

As a newer player with the upcoming Kate bishop grandmaster spotlight, I have been playing clog and excited to add them to my deck. Clog felt great vs these 2099 doom decks. The archetype is my marge meme of “I think it’s neat” gameplan.

Hey Jeff! Great content as always. I was wondering, am I kicking myself in the nuts if I play this deck without Warmachine? Or is it still somewhat playable? It's the only card I'm missing.

Legion Infinaut parts don't really work without it unfortunately.

i just used my tokens on war machine to do this deck after watching this. . SOOOO fun. got storm out on turn 3 from zabu...into war machine...then legioned the can't play cards lane...i love this deck lol. thank you for the deck list! yep, after like an hour of play...this is my favorite deck i've played in the last couple months since i came back

I clearly havent paid attention for a little bit, but when did they make storm a 4/5???

One of the patches in October. It was because the Storm > WM > Legion combo was too strong and was being abused.

Man no lie. I bumped into 7 war machine decks in a row playing ramp. I won 3...WM makes doom 2099 feel like power creep It's way too easy of a win con You get WM out turn 3 with zabu, play doom 2099, magik, skip 6 and boom, she-hulk/infinaut turn 7 its wild

Jeff you have one of the biggest brains in this game why do you ONLY stay in games you KNOW you can win? Show your skill win a hard game man
@Stereotype0Күн бұрын
This game is more about calculating odds and predicting play patterns than it is outplaying/outskilling your opponent. The entire point of the snap mechanic is to retreat when you are unfavoured and stay when you know when you have a good chance to win. Why would you risk cubes by staying in games where you recognise what you have can't beat what an opponent is likely to play?
@NexxКүн бұрын
But isn't having 'skill' (as you put it) knowing when the odds are against you so you can retreat to minimize your loses? Why should Jeff (or rather, any one of us) stay in a game where we could lose more cubes?

Original comment just requires the "waaait for it..." for him to figure out exactly WHY what Jeff does makes him so big brained. XD

Because I have a basic understanding of betting mechanics.
