look att how they ruined my boy the super shotgun:( lol on a serious note the nerf is fair and more then justified, making both shotguns useful (i mean just look att how god forsaken slow the super shotgun is, which is fair since i think they somehow made it feel like its hitting evan harder then it did in doom 2) only nitpick i have is the new animation for it is kinda weak, but thats just visuals, and i take its gameplay being better anyday over pretty looking animations.

The lack of animations was apparently due to cartridge space limitations on the N64, the same reason as to why some Doom 2 enemies didnt come back in this game and also why the maps are much smaller. Funny thing is the limitations are pretty much the reason why this game ended up being so well designed in the first place, since the lack of space on the cartridge meant they could no longer just mindlessly make massive, poorly paced levels like they did in Doom 2.
