ironic this is. Doom initially was going to be based in the Aliens franchise but when ID Software proposed it to FOX, they werent going to get all of the creative control that they wanted so they just backed out and switched from Aliens to hellspawn instead

The consistency of the idea what makes it's a good idea...if ai can make those models and drop into unreal that would ve great. But i haven't seen ai generate anything 3d models that is good enough yet only puctures..

These results are not as good as your Duke Nukem one. It looks way too videogamey and cartoony for my tastes. The demons don’t look anything like Doom’s enemies, they look more like Baraka from MK, or generic fantasy man #73 from just about any RPG ever. And why does Doom Guy’s suit/armor look so weird? It’s supposed to be a space marine suit, part soldier, part astronaut. This is just wrong. It shows why a.i. still can’t replace human intuition, yet. However, it is unnerving just how realistic the “human” images it invents look. I couldn’t tell a real person’s picture from an a.i.’s guess.
