The thing with MF DOOM is that it takes countless listening to grasp what he is saying, his use of the english language is out of this world, once you keep going back you will always find something you missed, or at least things that made no sense eventually make sense .... iv been a rap fan since I can remember, I'm 43 now and i definitely know my raps and DOOM is to me the greatest ..

If you're into sampling and production, you gotta do a reaction to potentially the most revulotionizing hip hop records ever, Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique from 1989. Funnily enough when I first started listening to them I went through records one by one, and for some reason it didn't connect at all with me then. I must have listened to the other 5/6 of their earliest records before I gave it another shot, and got completely fucking mindblown by the fact that I didn't enjoy it at first. Apparantly I was not alone because it had been thrashed upon it's release but are still climbing on all time charts today. V "Paul's Boutique was produced with the Dust Brothers, whose use of sampling helped establish the practice of multi-layered sampling as an art in itself. While the Dust Brothers were set on making a hit record, they agreed with the group on producing a more experimental and sonically different record.[4] In total, 105 songs are sampled, including 24 individual samples on the last track alone." "Although it doesn't jump you the way great rap usually does, "the Beasties and Tone-Loc's Dust Brothers have worked out a sound that sneaks up on you with its stark beats and literal-minded samples, sometimes in a disturbing way".

I was looking into the song batty boyz and DOOM said not he himself or the character DOOM has anything against gay people. He was meant to be going against robin and batman which would be DOOM's enemies hence why he uses insulting slurs. He even says in the song "Regardless, that’s they choice, no hate debate" showing he has nothing against gay people. Just clarifying as I'm concerned this new wave of people listening to his music may get the wrong idea. RIP the greatest villain of all time.

Yeah I was reading into random other reviews about the album and I saw that before I gave my final thoughts.... I thought it was odd cuz DOOM didn’t come off like what reviews were saying... I’ll take your word for it. RIP DOOM tha 🐐
