Yeah. And then one of them says "Alert the priest", because of course they're still worshipping the maykrs, and serving the corrupt priests, because even though corrupt, the priests are still of Sentinel blood. And yeah, that makes the Slayer their enemy. But they still treat him with utmost respect and greet him with his own words that they heard him say in the arena when he first arrived, and it sort of became his war cry: RIP AND TEAR.

Additionally, I believe they greet him not out of respect, but because by tradition, he is still a Sentinnel sovereign since he was allowed to join the Night Sentinnel, thus it is forbidden to harm him until he broke their laws
