This actually fits with the Slayer considering in Sentinel Primes ancient paste HE was considered to be the Sentinel King instead of Novik.

So I finally sorta pieced together the implications of the plot. Basically, vega ("the father"/the devil) won against The Dark Lord (aka "god") and convinced everybody that he was god and ruled heaven in his stead until samuel hayden turned him into an ai and locked him away as "vega" with plans to absorb him. However, the doomslayer, is the direct product of vega's power via the divinity machine, making the doom slayer a metaphorical child of vega, thus making the doomslayer an antichrist fighting against an unholy god to save his world. Kinda like a "the bad guy was really the good guy and vice versa all along" type story
