You like punishing yourself? Ive been trying to learn French, and plenty of time I've had this "This language is crap, why would you say it like that?!" Then I say it in Danish, and our language is also as shit as French.. Without all the linguistic gender stuff going on.

@@ToJak91 as to why I'd learn Danish - no idea honestly, my gf picked up Duolingo and I wanted to join in and decided to go with the funny potato language. And now I'm committed. But I'm German and I speak English fluently, so I was already halfway to basic danish before I started learning
@ToJak91

@@DasDieDerErik Danish grammar is pretty easy. But it doesn't sound like written. And duo's Danish is odd.. Mixing the words between male and female speakers. But a lot of our messed up language, is imported from German. Which puts you at an advantage. I've heard you can learn German fluently in 400 hours. Guess the reverse is the same.

Alot of graphical software used various techniques of this back in the 90ties, games and demoscene productions. You generally also didnt want to change palette on the fly back in the 8bit era with realtime graphics, getting raster artifacts.
