I've known 682 and he's been able to pull of A LOT of bs so I think he'd be able to resist the crucible tho we don't know how powerful it is, yes it was powerful against a demonic Titan but could the same thing work against the guy that MADE the demons ( aka the final boss in the dlc for doom eternal) also we don't technically know how powerful 682 is either so id say it's. 50/50 chance.

@@connerolson3320 the 'sword' is literally made to kill immortal beings, the titans of hell were all killed by him with this sword of pure argent energy, and they are supposed to be immortal The slayer itself if he didn't had this sword was able to kill someone even stronger than the icon of sin without it, like the champion of hell, or much later Davoth, who is god (who created the doom multiverse in lore) without a part of his power, Davoth even without much of his power is still classified the strongest enemy of the slayer, and he has defeated him with the weapons he uses for fun and to make demons suffer more Because he is bored to just use his literal infinite strenght, now take a moment to analyze this, and remember that the Icon of sin can create a black hole to consume a universe to hell, and remember that he was weaker than the champion of hell which the slayer defeated before entering the divinity machine, and then remember that later defeated basically god without a part of his power (stolen by the 'father')

Ok just a lil disclaimer not saying the video is wrong (awesome vid btw :3) depending on what doomsday it was doomsday could come back from the crucible as he can't die the same way twice but the crucibles main purpose is to slay immortal beings such as the icon of sin (before you say doomguy killed the demon lord with his normal blade yes yes he did because they were in RITUALISTIC COMBAT same would have gone for doomguy if the demon lord killed him) the icon of sin was the one of the strongest if not the strongest next to the demon lord as stated in doom 2016 demonic logs "a mighty one rose from the depths to challenge the slayer"

As far as i know the mighty one was the strongest demon titan ever and the slayer killed him with his hands and nothing more. The crucible is used to seal titans, leaving thek in a permanent corporeal death but their mind is still pretty much alive just their bodies dont work anymore
