Why do you recommend Magazine Capacity attribute for the Abnormal Increase build, and Reload Speed Bonus attribute for the Precision Charge build, and not the other way around? Wouldn’t it make more sense to “build upon” existing strengths for each build and boost its positives, since they are already in a good “baseline”?

There’s a cap of 100% for relod speed bonus. You wont gain anything out of more reload speed bonus on abnormal increase

But then again - increasing magazine capacity TOO MUCH can also have a negative impact on the build and kinda contradicts with Abnormal Increase mod, right? ‘Coz you gotta reload within less than 12 seconds each time (presuming you want the effect to stack up 3 times, of course).

I use everything you mentioned (heavy style calib) except i use key gear as frost tactical vest. I have around 80k to 100k dps Also i swap glove mod from elemental overload to crit boost when I equip ice rain (secondary) with frosty blessing when i am solo lea lab when i know im about to screw up for unlimited heal.

Is the final territory mode on the axe?Good or not ? when the fortress waiver ends it gives you 10% weapon damage for 10 seconds

doesnt work because you are not holding the weapon. the second you swap off the axe, the mod is not in effect. The only way to make it work is swapping to the axe as the FW ends and thats just mega dps and time loss.

What about using the mini feaster deviation? Gives more status dmg than the polar jelly

Polar jelly gives you frost damage which is a new multiplier, as well as proccing a Frost explosion with every triggered frost vortex which does a lot of extra damage when you get lucky on procs. There is no way at all that feaster is gonna come close to polar jelly, the jelly is just way too good for FV builds.

Are you no longer including dummy dps numbers with max buffs? I understand that people are saying "dummy dps is not actual dps / it dependant on mods" etc etc, but its a standardized point of comparison at least, would like to know if the build is a 10k or a 100k dummy dps build with your gear.

i won't include dummy tests anymore. you can see my damage on the bosses, yes the damage can reach 200k dps with my deviation out on the dummy, but it doesn't matter because it's a dummy, not a great one

​@@Doomeris Thanks for the response! I do find that its useful to know the dummy dps because it gives people a sense of how much dmg they can expect out of the gun (at least a ball park range). Personally, i feel the boss clear speed doesn't give a good sense of the dps, because the standard of measurement of that would be time to clear. It then becomes harder to grasp because of the varying boss mechanics and video editing styles. It also becomes cloudy if you were to factor in seasons such as Treant in manibus vs WoW for example. For example, take (Pre change) little jaws, I can make a boss battle with cuts to showcase the huge 150k+ explosion dmgs wiping out the boss, from a viewing standpoint it would seem like the boss is melting and might sit at around 1m+ dps, but in actuality its 50-100k. Thus dummy dps would be the standard enemy across multiple factors that yields a number that definitively shows, with X mods in Y season, it does this amount of dmg. But thats just my 2 cents on it and I understand where you are coming from as its not an accurate representation of the weapon's dps :D Thanks as always for the detailed build guides :D

i have best results with blue Flame resonance(status) mods on top and pants , pants gold mods for elemental builds kinda sucks . i dont spray gun tho , i use it as single fire and shoot crystals only and use snowsprite, works great on every boss and silo except Giant. gun is very vesrstile imo , there is no "best" build for it, its good in many diff builds and can be tailored towards playstlye you like.
