Let's match up Doomfist. Pharah = What's he going to hit her with when she's flying high in the sky? McCree = Can two shot him and has his flash bang. Mei = Freeze him and he's dead, build walls to stop him dead in his tracks. Sombra = Hack him and he can't do anything, translocator as a bailout. Torbjorn = Turret accuracy is high and Doomfist needs to close that gap in order to break it Junkrat = Throw a trap in front of you before he charges and he'll get stuck. Soldier 76 = Hitscan with good damage from far reaches, can sprint away from attacks. Orisa = HALT! Fortify! Two words, two shut downs on movement based abilities. Widowmaker = Sniper with high damage; picks off his predictable movement. Hanzo = Medium to long range sniper and scatter arrow. Enough said. Roadhog = Hook 'em and cook 'em. Ana = Sleep him and he's as good as dead if your team mates are around. Zayra = Shields all damage while boosting her own. Bastion = Sneak up on him or you're dead. Funny story: Got to use steel trap on a Doomfist one game and did Sexy Junkrat in front of him every time while my team picked me off. Hoo boy the salt was delicious.

The more popular fps game with nothing but competitive elements to it. Basically anyone that's ever played counter strike, Call of Duty, Battlefield, or really any competitive FPS comes to this game and brings their superiority complexes with them. That's why the game is toxic. You can notice how their tends to be no toxicity at all when it comes to their cooperative matches (junkenstein's revenge/that one with all the blue robots). If they'd just release a cooperative story mode there wouldn't be any toxicity at all except for competitive, but they won't do that become competition is where they're making all their money.

Tbh I could see a story mode or campaign that forced you to play as one of a few heroes offered to them, for example, a story level could be like this (Situation at the museum from the trailer occurs, forced to play as Winston or tracer, and have to defeat widowmaker and reaper) Or (Reaper and widowmaker have to bypass security drones to reach something important, and will succeed, forced to play reaper or widowmaker) There would still be coop but it might be tough to do any way, one thing for sure though Abilities could affect level progression, like sombra's hack or Symmetra's turrets for example

vapid dragon lol his hitbox is basically the same as Reaper, he has super short cool downs, 250hp, stupidly high mobility, enough damage that a combo that takes half a second to use can destroy everything except Rein Road and Winston, a melee hitbox that can go through objects and to top it all of an overheal mechanic. He is not balanced.

He should be 2 star as the most. That hitbox makes him easier than soldier and McCree. Genji is the true 3 star offense hero. Zarya the 3 star tank (unless the enemy is not competent enough to stop shooting at a shielded hero 90% of the time) and Ana is the 3 star healer. Doomfist is so much easier than those characters

You need the random, wylie placement of Torbjörn Turrets while the team distracts them. Its the only way to deal with this DPS hellscape. If they don't have a barrier it doesn't mater how much a distracted Doomfist dances around. The turret NEVER misses. If he gets close Torb's alternate fire shotgun is surprisingly effective.

It's just another example of a low-skill-cap character in that sense who now needs to be countered by super-humans. Compare Pharah and Ana. Good luck taking on Pharah. She has the height advantage, more damage, massive explosions, impossible to miss, and then Ana, who has to run for her freaking life every time Pharah notices her. Yes, an expert Ana can take down a Pharah in some 3 shots if she has enough time for it that she doesn't need to focus on healing, AND if Pharah is somewhere in the distance. The only good time I have had with Ana vs Pharah is when I slept one in mid-air above the abyss.

Dry Hard I think that if they nerf Doomfist, they should: 1. Make the charging noise louder. 2. Make it so targets hit by the rocket punch don't go as far, meaning that you need to be more strategic with how you engage situations with the fist because it won't be as easy to one shot people. And 3. Fix the hitbox size. That is all.

I play Mcree constantly which has the two best things to deal with Doomfist, Burst Damage and CC. So he hasn't really bothered me personally, plus his punch has a super loud audio cue, way less gut wrenching than getting flanked by a random roadhog pre nerf.

What people don't realize is that Doomfist is useless without his abilities. He is a great one on one dive hero, but more than 2-3 people at a time is pushing it, even for people who are really good and know when to bounce out from a fight. (Also, lowkey, Sombra is a good counter to him because she can just hack him and make him useless in the middle of a firefight. Orisa's Fortitude also is a good counter, and Mei can just freeze him.) The game doesn't have broken heroes, it has people using the hero effectively. A "broken" hero isn't a good hero if it's not being used right, just like an under powered hero isn't useful unless used right. I'm not saying he doesn't need tweaking, but I think people are exaggerating quite a bit. Doomfist is a great character that brings a lot to the table, and allows people to have fun while being useful. We should respect Blizzard's work on him, appreciate the time spent to make him, and give our ideas and constructive criticism to them in a polite way rather than just screaming "He's BR o Ke, FiX Na O W"

Bastion, Pharah, Tracer, McCree, Torbjorn, Mei Those are all pretty great Doomfist counters that can shut him down fairly easily, so you can't compare him to someone like Roadhog who basically only had Reaper as a counter when he was op

You know for most characters I like in games like the competitive ones I always see my character just be mid tiers at best whether it be Little Mac from Smash or Arthur from UMvC3, and other characters I love not being broken (but still be fair) in some way like Rosalina (who is not fair) from Smash. Seeing Doomfist destroying everyone has gotten me very satisfied, especially at the end where Ana couldn't take you down in the end even with her cheap sleeping darts. I know he's going to get nerfed to where he isn't going to be viable in a sense that he's only situational like all of my other favorite characters, so for now just enjoy the complete power trip of punching people into oblivion.

Hanzo's scatter arrow is more balanced than doomfist, it comes back after 10 seconds but doomfist's punch comes back every 4 seconds

they need to lower the knockback effect when he hits you because its so annoying when you just out in open and doomfist just punches you 100m away and one shots you
