Bro you just inspired me to start making paper figures again. I had stopped for awhile because I was at a young age. I thought I it was ridiculous and I was the only one doing it and thought it was lame. But know that i see how many people do it on KZbin and the stuff they come up with, I'm not afraid to show my creative side again, thanks.
@PaperPatriot6 жыл бұрын
that's wonderful to hear, I went on the exact same path. I believed for so long that it was a lame and useless skill that no one would accept, and I've never been more wrong. Anything that is important to you is not lame, don't let anyone tell you different.

@thaliahelene3 жыл бұрын
In your case, failing while attempting to make something is still epic. And worth filming. Your eventual success just becomes more suspenseful. Plus, you learn an important way not to do something. So I would relax a little, if I were you. It’s good that you are still driven to do your best, but maybe you can trust us to still be watching if you need to balance intensity over the length of the project. There’s nothing else like your content out there that I’ve ever seen, not that you didn’t heavily influence and surpass. Good job, man.

this video is quite helpful, i use it as some kind of help in building my model but its a size of a normal human and I wanted to make as many moving and working parts as possible. Unfortunately I can't really tell how did you make the thumb... ;( I hope I will get to know how to do it in some time Edit: I think I got it
@DemonSlayer6486 жыл бұрын
I'll be honest. If you made 2 different Krieg models from Borderlands 2. 1 where he is normal. And one where he has the giant arm and the small arm it would be awesome or some how make the arms interchangeable.

i have a big project idea...the hulkbuster armour
@PaperPatriot6 жыл бұрын
Yep, Maybe I'll just do an hour or two here and there over the course of a year. Or I could do a transforming Optimus Prime
@izakfourie69116 жыл бұрын
PaperPatriot that would be cool too...because when I saw this mechanical arm look so good I instantly thought of how good a robot would look so I thought hulkbuster would be nice; optimus would be a challenge though since he has so much articulated parts and details.But It would be worth it
@PaperPatriot6 жыл бұрын
yeah maybe I should do a Hulkbuster first since it's a little easier than Optimus, since I wouldn't make an Optimus that couldn't transform.
@EliasEski5 жыл бұрын
PaperPatriot Wow an optimus prime that could transform it would be so complicated but a figure of a non transforming optimus prime could be really interesting and since he is really big you can have a lot more space for new articulation like butterfly or like a double jointed articulation at the head but the two cylinder of the head would be at a different position to make the head articulate back and furth and sideways

Do you know of any alternative to fact glue?
@cerebros36717 жыл бұрын
Also, do you use a printer to duplicate identical pieces or do you just draw them out individually? As always, this is great.
@PaperPatriot7 жыл бұрын
fact glue? not sure what you mean. for duplicating pieces I trace the first one I made while its flat, and re-colour it again
@cerebros36717 жыл бұрын
PaperPatriot 1: craft glue* sorry lol 2: you have multiple pieces that are the same size, shape, and color. I'm just wondering if you use a printer for all the duplicate pieces.
@cerebros36717 жыл бұрын
But you did answer my question.^
@PaperPatriot7 жыл бұрын
Talon Stephensen 1. You just need a glue that is strong enough to hold the joints in place. The one I use I just found randomly one day, it dries as hard as plastic so it's perfect, and it sticks really well. I'm sure there's better ones out there but I'm happy with what I have. I've been using hot glue from a hot glue gun lately too, since it dries so fast. 2. Yeah for those pieces I just measured them out then drew and coloured them individually, don't think I even traced them. Oh wait no, I actually made a template for the shape first, and traces that for all of them. Either way, no printing of any kind, everything is hand drawn and coloured
