I really appreciate the strikes against another blade. Great videos. The only thing I could think to ask is for all the swords to endure the exact same tests to ensure they are all judged equally... and you already do a pretty good job of that.

Cool. Does it have distal taper or is ot one thickness all the way through? Considering you've went w/ such thick stock it would help w/ the tip speed, its feel in the hand & how well it cuts. Thats where so many companies get it wrong. If you look at almost any bladed weapon in the world most all have distal taper.

Hello.. Yes!! With thus steel and most like it..You always want to keep a good coat of oil on all swords and weapons like this..🙂 J

Awesome, I've been waiting for this. Normally if you wanted to field sharpen a machete you'd use a file, but I'm curious how well that works on the 1095. Normally I see machetes in 1055 or 1075 so I'm curious how well that would work. I'm also curious how much it would weigh.

Hey Sam...The 1095 and great heat treating means it will hold a edge for a long time..I think a file would work in a vice... I used 400 grit to re edge the blade after the harsh testing... blade weighs 2.9 lbs.. has great balance and you can two hand if if needed..hope this helps ..J

@@jasonwoodard4881 Thank you, I like the design a lot, way better than the crapper Gerber we have right now. I'm curious about the saw on the back because I've seen plenty with similar looks but the teeth weren't sharp.

Hey Steve...Each sword or blade are made to order so I would say 2 to 3 weeks at the most right now... Hope this helps..J
