I love mine & would 100% use it with a real baby for only a stroller & rocker. The space it saves in the car & at home & that stairs aren’t an issue makes it worth it in my opinion. In a promo video I saw them lower the handle, put it in the middle position & then she walked beside it which I thought was pretty cool too. Another great video 👏👍

Yeah I do love mine, especially at home with Realcares/ testing hybrids etc it is so easy to move them around. If these are legal in my country I would 100% buy one for a real child but just be aware where/ how long I use it it for :) Same as any capsule really

I’m using it for my reborns so it s perfect joust for that and my 8yr old can push it with her reborns as well I got her. A doll stroller and was upset when it came and it was made for a 2yr old

I love my doona and here in the UK it meets safety standards. I only use it for reborns but I have seen lots of parents here using them for real baby's.

I'm sorry to be that person but even Prams have to meet Australian standards to be 'legally' used. Who's gonna report someone and to where if someone actually did use it though? But Prams are still AS/NZs standard certified.

A baby definitely won’t fit it that long, you’re probably looking at 6-9 months old depending on weight and height

For something like $400 USD too 🤣 It's nuts to me that these cost so much because they don't really add much convenience to a parent's life unless of course they are frequently going out of the house in the car and do just need a pram that pops open and off they go with it. Ideal for school runs etc but otherwise, your baby won't be in it past 1 year unless they're unusually small for their age. I have heard a few parents saying that their baby grew out of this car seat at 4 months and most car seats on their own are suitable for use past 5 months old so not sure what's up with the Doona but it isn't worth what Doona charge for it by any means. Thankfully they seem to sell for a similar price second hand, I've seen second hand ones selling for about £200 and a bit more with the isofix base so you may get some money back if your baby does outgrow it 🤷🏻‍♀️ Unless you take your baby out every so often then it's not really ideal as it does essentially have a time limit, it's different to a pram chassis with a car seat that you can interchange like most prams because you can use a carrycot and then the toddler seat unit but this isn't a great pram and having seen them in stores, they honestly do not look worth what the stores charge for them. Maybe £100 at max for it if you want it as a spare in a car but they're all over £300 and you can get a complete pram travel system for under £100 second hand so this just ain't worth it lol I understand it for reborn dolls though because dolls are not going to suffocate from being in a pram like this but for a real baby, it lacks suspension, doesn't have a storage basket, it costs a lot and doesn't last long. Apparently the quality isn't brilliant either and wheels break a lot. I've researched it as I considered getting one but I heard a lot of negative reviews and was really put off of buying one. ShellBell's review is good though

I definitely aimed my review to reborn doll’s especially as you can’t use this car seat for a real baby in my country, But all the above comments are correct and flow with what I said in the video, I do think it’s a cool concept though :)

@@ShellBellsChannel I think it's fine for reborn dolls, it definitely does not take up as much space as 99% of prams would so that's a bonus, I just think the price tag is insane but for reborns, they are never going to grow out of it so you definitely get your money's worth for reborns etc but for a real baby, they're not worth it price wise and a lot of reviewers have said this. I was considering getting one for my reborns but the one I was trying to get sold before I could buy it 😅 I will still consider getting a second hand one just for use for reborns because you do save money buying second hand, they're £300 in the baby store I went to and there was a full travel system next to it priced at £250 but you could clearly see just how much space a travel system takes up as they had the seat unit, carrycot and car seat next to the pram but the Doona was just one piece and was indeed far more compact so for space saving it's definitely good 👍 I will see if I can find a fairly cheap one, they do retain a large portion of what you would have spent on them brand new if you sell them in second hand condition so you're not going to lose a fair amount of money like you would on a lot of travel systems if you do decide to sell the Doona. I was speaking to a lady who spent £1,000 on an Oyster brand pram and she sold it for £250 🥲 Thankfully this isn't the case with a Doona though and you can easily get £200 or more with the pram and the car seat isofix base together in a bundle lol Do you still have the other Doona that you had? I remember you did a video of dolls up to Liam by Bonnie Brown's size and it's nice that the Doona does fit bigger dolls 😀
