We are also Dooner fans and love the Trike. Whilst I agree with the points you have made we have found that it works perfectly fine for us. The first point you make about the handle bar is from observation you have it upside down and it's also not folded. The T part handgrip is supposed to rest on the handle bar pocket. If you fold it right it rest perfectly fine and it does not become a hazzard, It actually becomes secure. We travel with it as well on the aeroplane and have not had any issues. Attaching and detaching - once again for me I see this as a secure lock feature so I would expect it to be solid and fitting in place. I've found that it would be difficult to insert the lock in place if you have not lifted the bar. I've observed that you have lifted the bar. for those who are struggling it might be that you need to lift the bar for the hole to be in place otherwise it will the slot will not lock in. I experienced this at the begging and the instruction videos don't really point to this part. Once you figure it out it is easy to slot. Once again for security feature the lock is steady so I i've not found it to be a bother. Difficulty in steering the handle bar- Yes this can be difficult but it depends on what setting you have below the handle bar. If you have it on the setting steering disengaged then it would be difficult. I believe this would be the down setting. What I would suggest is for you to remove the bar and try turn the handle bar first , you will see it turns okay. But check the setting. One gives you control the other gives the baby control. It won't matter much now since you have proceeded to buy another bike. Disassembly - once again for me I've not had any issues, yes it takes longer to disassemble that I do agree because you have to pack it back - but i've not found it to be discouranging to the point that i have to return it. I will point out that it is easier to put the cup holder at the back section rather than the front. My kid has not thrown it out and I've found it really handy and it does fit in the bag holder well. I completely respect your decision if it did not work for you guys but I would not discourage others to purchase it because it is worth it. I hope this helps anyone who is experiencing any issues.

We had the same issue with the maneuvering until I read the manual and realized that it was automatically set on the mode for the toddler to have control over the handle bars . Around the neck of the handle bars you have to push down and it literally changed everything . It was extremely easy to move out kid around corners and around the stores .

Yes sometimes it can be switched accidentally… but I didn’t like the handling overall but now me n the kid b zooooming around we love this stroller

The bar is in the bag incorrectly and the bar is in the toddler setting so must be in the parent setting if you want to have control. The doona Lili isn’t hard to fold once you practice it a few times. I love mine…it’s awesome.

That’s the stroller we got! The gbpockit and we loved it- unfortunately the airline broke the handle bars on our flight home. But we loved it!

Hi! I’m so sorry no I didn’t. But we got this little travel stroller I think it was called the pocket or something not another trike. And the stroller needed up getting damaged by the airline. 🫣 I do know other people rave about the DOONA trike, I just didn’t love ours- clearly 🤗

Thank you so much! Everything you guys had issues with is exactly what my husband and I are having issues with Doona Trike Liki we just ordered. And they have all these fees to return and now we are going to be paying about $100 just to return it, so disappointed with Doona.

So glad I saw this review. We’re traveling internationally next month and thought this could work for our 12 month old. But with two other kids under five, this takes too long to fold up and I can already hear the fight my husband and I will have with this product. Will be watching your travel stroller video next!

THANK YOU! I'm so late in responding to this comment! We ended up getting the pocket stroller for traveling back- it was nice and folded up super small, but the handle broke! So we returned it and didn't get another travel stroller. However I will say, the Doona car seat stroller is STILL A WINNER to us. We've had ours over 4 years and traveled with it a ton. It's been on airplanes, checked at the gate and never had an issue. It's perfect because it's double purpose as well.

@@EbethFielder I almost got the doona, but my first two babies were BEASTS and grew out of their infant seats at 6 months. 16 months later for our third and she's still just a lil thing and in the infant seat. lol

A lot of this is due to placing the expectations of a stroller on what explicitly calls itself a trike.
