When you pluck the feather out of an ostrich, that's what it's skin looks like. The bumps are the pores that used to have the quill-end of the feather.

That is a gorgeous color! It looks amazing with your top. I had that color in a bag but gave it away to a summer intern I was working with because she admired it. If you “pluck” an ostrich’s quills or feathers, you’d be left with those bumps. So you won’t see it while they are running around. 😮 A “real” ostrich hide would be ultra expensive.
