Dooney & Bourke how to spot a fake & a little info about Levi’s

I found a D&B in a yard sale. It has every appearance of being genuine but lacks the red tag. I’d like to resell it but need to find out if red tags were always sewn into the lining’s.

I’m so sorry that I just saw your comment! Yes. All real bags will have had three red white and blue tag. Without it it will be hard to prove it’s real. Some people cut them out for some crazy reason … hope this helps and again so sorry for the delay !

I was given a Dooney and Bourke purse that was given to the person that gave it to me. There is the red, white and blue tag. I question if it is real because the quality of the zipper and none of the hardware says or feels like brass. I am pretty sure it was probably made after 1995. Can I send u pics? Thankd

Are there any fake bags that actually have a tag in them? Dooney says they never attach a fob to the zipper and I also cannot find them changing to the new emblem you showed on that purse. Curious because I have one similar that needs authenticating

On the black FAKE DB, if it were Authentic, the interior color would have been the same as the exterior, the raw side of the leather. That’s another way to authenticate a DB.
