12:10 The reason for why SS3 Goku is GREEN is because Majin Buu Saga didn't have a premium Green unit yet. Prior to him they had FSV (Blue), Ulthan (Purple), Gotenks (Red) and UMV (Yellow), so him being green fills out the color wheel.

@@UndyingHunger My initial statement doesn't have anything to do with who fits on the team better, it's just an acknowledgement of how the devs pick colors for units based on their role or what team they're for. They like to release a unit for every color when they support a team, they just so happened to release so much MBS support this year that they were able to do a SP and LF (Ultra unit in the case of Yellow) for every color (except Purple considering it didn't get a standard SP unit).

This fest is so trash content wise. We got a useless LF Zenkai. Part 1 units had night and day difference. Part 2 units had night and day difference in animations. We got a 2x card draw speed meta. UMV is still number 1 and TVB and SSJ3 just add more insult to injury and the worst of all, Goresh sneaked in UG4 in his top 10 and thought we wouldn't notice. Worst fest ever 💀

I'd say Rosé is a much better character for this meta with his "safety" tools like buff cancellations, his respectable healing, card destruction and db destruction. What is UG4 doing? UMV 2 cards him, TVB ignores his gauge, even Rosé can easily 2 shot him. UG4s Ultimate hits like a wet noodle now with all these top tier characters having attribute upgrades and buff effects removal. Not hating on Goresh but some character placements on his list are just questionable (which has always been the case).

I just wish they'd go with a more rpg style team building mentality. Defense types being the bulky units that can survive long combos and big attack moves with sustain, but sacrifices dmg. Melee/ranged types being pure offense, and the only healing they get is from mains and switch outs Supports being either disruptive focused or healing focused. I feel like it would help them make more unique units and not have it to where you have offense focused units being better tanks than defense focused units or supports doing more dmg than offense units.

2024 was the year I quit legends but I think it was inevitable since the garbage fire that was the 4th anniversary. 2022 was the worst year in legends history with every release being absolutely horrendous. However 2023 extended my stay due to probably being the best year in Legends ever. 2024 is not _that_ much worse but it is still considerably (and noticeably) worse, to the point where I naturally drifted away after pulling a copy of UL SSJ2 Gohan. 2023 as a year was defined by unique mechanics. Each release had a unique gimmick and playstyle. Not necessarily good playstyle but still unique. TOP17 had his unique support and uncancellable Endurance. Hit had his time skip. RevUI was a cool UI Goku with a revive, Buu Duo had their standby. UL Kid Buu had his crazy green spam playstyle, GokuFrieza had their rush cancel, OP was a revive, gammas had standby, Cell was probably the most fun unit of the year, and then 2023 began to fall off. Nameku is generic, as is PtP Goku. Pikkon was a disappointment, UL Janemba was cancer, even moreso than Rose who had previously been Satan in my book, Beast was cool but Evoken was mid. Goku Bardock mid and UI Goku was the most boring of the boring. Since then the game fell into free-fall. None of the 2024 units far the 6th Anniversary Units and maybe transforming Broly have fun parts to their kits whatsoever. No one else has stuff that sets them apart either. It's just higher stats. In 5th Anniversary it was difficult to tell who was the best because all the units were so different you could make a case for all of them. Rn, either you're MV or you're a worse version of VB. And the focus on stall also sucks mega hard. Overall, dog game.

My honest opinion about DBL right now: UMV was way more hyper than all the 4 lfs in the fest. One thing is that he is one of my fav characters in the anime, but the other thing is that I hate him in PvP. Not only is this fest so boring, but the PvP meta is soo toxic as well. I really used to love this game in 2023 and dont want this game to die. Its just the fact that the game is not fun anymore, not unless u have every single character in the game and even if u do hve all the characters in the game, it still feels like torture to encourage yourself to play this game everyday, do ur dailies and grind ccs as well and it feels horrible to get shafted after days of saving (in a F2P perspective ig),it just feels like u wasted ur time grinding all that cc for nothing. and when they drop 4 new banners in the anniversary and if people get shafted on all of them, it just feels desperate at that point. one of the other problems is that people that dont want to summon on characters that arent hype enough still have to summon as they wont be able to play PvP, like I dont want to summon on Ultimate gohan, i just want godku but since ultimate gohan is the best unit in the game and godku is literally unusable, I JUST have to summon on gohan. Tbh this festival doesnt really have hype stuff either but atleast the part 1 character choices and daima goku was hype in my opinion, and they still managed to fumble those releases is insane to me. I still think the devs in 2023 were atleast trying to put effort into the game, like the drone show for UVB and the orchestra for UUI goku had me edging(pause). The 6th Anniversary car showoff,racing or whatever it was is just not enough to make me edge (pause again🤨). I just hope that Kai comes back, Im not blaming Yuka but when Kai was around, things just felt better man. That probably sums up all of 2024 for me and how 2023 was most probably the best year for DBL

Make Vb not combine infinite and more balanced and make CMZ a turles lvl unit Than part 2 release damia but instead of BUU SAGA release a Revival ssj3 Gt Goku> ssj4. I don’t like how they did rose dirty we didn’t need a rehash of TF green rose with worse animations and a terrible kit that makes you go through multiple scavenger hunts to make his gauge reset just for him to be “ decent”. Of all the fumble headlining Lfs rose by far is the worse ever.

I still believe omega was never really a good release, I've been thinking this ever since he came out It's not that he doesn't do his job - he does, pretty well But what else does he do? Tamagami 3 supplies relative if not better defensive capabilities as well as his dragon ball obtainment Omega was never really on any big boy team, when he came out you could run him on gt with ug4 sure, but 1, he was green so he could be torn apart instantly, 2, him being blast based is VERY odd considering this is quite a bit past the reign of s17 and messes up the zabilities for ug4

Yeah, many of the arguments for saying this year's LFs are "bad quality" are just not good. They are based entirely upon the unit's kit which is not entirely representative of their "quality", sometimes are not even true according to most of the community (napgeta being bad ???) and ignores the fact that last year's LFs were not absolutey perfect and there were also mistakes to discuss. I understand that it's legends complaining season because of the mismanaged festival, but these are just complaints for the sake of complaining imo. Outside of the festival this year was managed perfectly averagely, with an amazing anniversary to boot.

I just feel like featured boost and subpar plat Equipments/zenkais are ruining the possibility of running diverse teams in top pvp. Right now for example I don't like playing PVP because I'm tired of playing VB(or his lazy copy SSJ3 goku) and everybody else just feels subpar(out of all the top tier units I don't have UMV,UG4,Treeku and Daima Goku) So I'm stuck with one pretty good team and I'm fighting 95% VBS or UMVS and like 60% UMVS and VBs. Just before Legends fest I had the same problem because all I could play were teams with Ultra Turles and now it's already hard to play him because I don't have a team where I can play him and give him a zenkai and HP Bench (because Rose lowkey sucks) because that's the bare minimum for a 5 star OP Ultra from 2 months ago

I know what they should do. Make shallot an “LL” character with better stats better kit for each form. Greens, ultimates, synchro gauge become a thing. “LL” characters should support their tags but also be released against other certain tags. Like let’s say girls vs loe. Legends limited characters should have a gimmick, like defensive Characters should tank long combos like nothing, god goku should have cancel buff effects like Gohan. 😮 also an update to the battle system since it’s been 4 years since the last update.

legends should treat characters like literally any other game. look at characters in valorant, overwatch, street fighters etc. EVERYONE IS EQUAL, it just depends on how good you are at using them. phoenix is one of the oldest valorant characters, but its not like he is one shotted by any of iso's moves. venture is one of the newer overwatch characters, but is not that good. the problem is with the community. if there is an lf that isn't top 10, we start complaining. considering how many lfs there are, it should be completely fine. its not like we are FORCED to spend money, you can be f2p.
