Nintendo did well in deceiving most players at the end of this fight. The trek to the chapel was long enough, the puzzles were in the correct amount, and the boss battle was challenging enough to the point where you thought the chapter was over...... until you pressed the A button and found out it wasn't over. Am I right.... Slick?

I loved the concept though. He didn't just impersonate you- he impersonated you and then pulled a Captain Ginyu and stole your whole identity. And the letter P out of your entire alphabet and speech for good measure. How horrifying.

I love the twist mid-chapter that makes you think the chapter will be a short one... until it shows that *you were really fighting Mario as Doopliss, not the other way around, because he successfully fooled not just the party, but also the PLAYER, into thinking he was the real deal for the whole fight*

Doopliss mario looks scary... he is so souless and everytime we see him its always like he just came out of a fist fight. I knew something was wrong when i beated doopliss and then mario looked odd... i couldnt put my finger on it.. it freaked me out as i sat for 5 seconds to wait for the next cutseen not realises that i am playing as "doopliss" xD Also mario has one thing that is stolen from him... and that thing is his voice. He seems to be able to comunicate through minds cuz we never hear him talk xd its like he is muted but at the same time we hear him as well as the characters he is "speaking" to xd its funny to look at mario swinging his arms while spitting air in people xD

Doopliss could've been the closest boss to defeating Mario. He could've just straight up left Twilight Town with Mario's body and friends, and Mario would've just been stuck there forever. Even if he did find the lowercase 'p' it wouldn't have mattered

Holy moly wakamoly, this guy went insane, he turned the villagers in this village into LITERAL PIGS, AND EVEN STOLE MARIOS IDENTITY, AND STOLE HIS PARTNERS. Then, a new partner! Awesome. And after we defeat doopliss, uhhhh... "Rats, YOU KILLJOYS!!!" (Dont renember the rest) We still encountered and battled doopliss a few more times. This guy is a legend.
