I prefer to keep all the door hardware as type parameters. This allows you to create doorsets inlcusive of hardware as a 'type' which can then be selected as a legend component for the purpose of preparing door elevations which will automatically update with any changes to that type. If they are instance parameters, it will only show the parameter defaults and require more quality checking.

I want to make two different stairs in one model 1.Fully solid stairs for doorstep 2.Flight stairs All in the same model.Whenever I duplicate both stairs it ends up being the same having the same thickness, please help me out

You need to copy not only the main stair family but also the run type, support type and so on...
