Production of Sweet potato in Foothills of Manipur

These farmers are the real contributors to state economy and provide food on our table. Bureaucrats live on central government doles and contributes little to the state economy, just imagine state filled with only police commandos? sweet potatoes and tapioca are food with low glycemic index and people are shifting to them from white potato and these crops have a very good future.These crops are not easily available in big metros and if govt can help farmers in transportation and cold storage, manipur can flood these metro markets.I am amazed at the production quality of documentaries of DDK imphal, they need to provide English subtitles, so the rest of the world can see and appreciate.
