World immunization week is being celebrated from April 24 to April 30 with an aim to raise awareness about the importance of the immunization.
It is an initiative to make people aware of the diseases which could be prevented through immunization and where they can get all the immunization, especially in the far-flung areas.
The experts tell about various immunization undertaken as part of the National Immunization Programme which includes diphtheria, polio, hepatitis B etc.
They tell about various new vaccines including rotavirus against diarrhea among others.
Informing about the Mission Indradhanush experts says that it a special initiative to vaccinate every child who has missed any vaccinization fully or partially.
