Kashmiri version of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' - 'Kus Bani Koshur Karorpaet'
The much awaited DD show Kus Bani Koshur Karorpaet (Who wants to be a millionaire) went on air tonight at 8 pm on Doordarshan’s Kashir Channel.
The show will be telecast from Monday to Saturday at 8 pm from April 29 - July 6, 2019.
The host for the show is a popular face and a well known Kashmiri actor Raees Mohiuddin.
The show is akin to the Hindi KBC hosted by Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Anyone who can speak Kashmiri, hailing from any part of the world, can participate in the show, if registered successfully earlier during the registration process.
The show provides an opportunity to the people of Kashmir to share their personal experiences and stories of their achievements.
About 1, 25, 000 people attempted to register for the show and about 15, 000 were successful registrants. The final contestants to play the ‘fastest fingers first’ were selected after appearing for a written test and camera auditions.
