I've realized that door dash in my town just isn't worth it, orders are usually really far and its hard to find specific apartment buildings and units. Uber eats is much easier in my opinion

Im told the whole month of Dec. was great here. I, unfortuately was waiting on a new red card and missed a lot of it. Last week was great for me. I did 50+ deliveries. I saw that your zones touch each other, I only have one zone that touches mine and I hate driving there. Sometimes, late night deliveries are pick up in my zone, drop in the other zone.

Definitely don't be afraid of trying a different market. You might just find a cash cow if you are willing to explore. When I first started dashing I had no choice but to try a different market. I know some people are cautious about moving outside of their comfort zone. I was too but wanted this to work. I learned that market fast and I am sure you will also.

Noticed 2 changes on the app, Android. Pause restarts Everytime you start dash then paused again. As in, previously if you used 10 minutes of pause you only had 25 minutes left. Now it's 35 every time, even if you used pause time in the same dash. Another change was the ability to stop future orders. Say you want to end your shift. You stop future orders. Rather than having to pause and end. Also when you press end, the app automatically pauses while you decided to end dash or cancel and continue dashing.

Do you think it’s a good idea if I do door dash full time while in school? Do you think I’ll get by working 40 or more hours a week in Texas. Being able to afford rent, food etc. or do you recommend me getting a part time job and do DoorDash on the side?

@Bentley Koup @SuperReedScott I also have the Moto G7 with Metro and have the same problem. The only way to see the order coming in is while looking at the screen. Also with that phone I had a lot of problems with " dead zones" therefore kept losing my GPS. Took another phone with me while dashing which was another Metro phone and didn't have a problem with the GPS. Therefore the problem was the Moto G7 and not Metro. My G7 was under warranty so I am waiting for my new one to come in. Hopefully it was just a glitch in the original G7. We shall see!! But that battery is awesome!!!

Shouldn't u turn on notifications on, not on vibrate mode? U can also modify or personalize the notifications sound for a specific app on the settings. Call ur Mobile provider or Phone manufacturer.

Hassan Alsalman ur prob being too nice and ur name sounds very ethnic I’m not tryna b rude I’m being serious . U might b a minority being over polite . My best recommendation is to be less personable and more “professional” Americans r weird man they don’t like sum dude w a Muslim sounding name being all jolly. Also there are people who just want to mess with you and knock you down because they can. We have a young man in the neighborhood who orders on a regular basis and always has an issue. Claims he didn't receive his food or creates some other problem. Gives a 1 star to everyone. I didn't get him yet but word went around quick about this one. Probably feeling some sort of power he never had before. Or just miserable. All I know is if his name comes up that's an instant decline! Soon nobody will be delivering to him.

Easy .....make sure every single order you pick up at every single restaurant you go to is ready when you get there. No waiting allowed ever. Every order has to be ready. And only take $20 per mile jobs. YOU WILL AVERAGE 12 AN HOUR DELIVERING FOOD END OF THE STORY.....there is no trick or hidden secret that will help this fact.

Raider Rich in my area it’s actually better and faster pay than the deliveries at least while it’s warm I made up to $800 in a day.
