Doordash On A Moped

In this video I decided to try out door dash on a moped...
I've seen bikes, scooters, walking, but I wanted to try something better, a moped!

they break down much faster than a car. and small problems will stop the moped from working correctly. if you can't fix simple problem repairs get expensive fast.

Scooter would be the way to go because you don’t have to worry about deprecation on your vehicle plus your saving hundreds of not thousands a month on gas . I know a guy who makes 6 figures doing doordash on 50cc

I have seen people doing DD on electric commuter scooters. I bought an electric scooter to get around but need a better one to do deliveries. You should bring one of those big backpacks incase you need the extra room. Love the video.

I use a honda pcx150 to dash with! It's so much fun and i love telling the other drivers how ridiculous gas prices are when I spend 7.50 on a fill up lol

@@sarnovskyadam I've got a cooler mounted to the back. I've also got a pizza bag that i can secure to the top of that when i get those orders. I made a cup carrier using plastic caddy and it sits in the pizza bag behind me on the seat.

That is very true. But with a smaller slower scooter like that I would probably just reuse it. those things that I used to have don't even get past 40 miles an hour. And you wouldn't believe the prices of these helmets to, they're pushing 150, $200

A car is definitely easier and less stressful but the scooter can be fun but it’s more of a hassle!

Car is safer but scooper is cost efficient. Go for safety till he has strong development of motor and impulse control and sensory awareness. You have to be a very good defensive driver.

any advice for someone who'll door dash on a bike as to where to put my bike for the deliveries where I have to go into the lobby or upstairs? I just signed up for this and I live in an inner city, my bike could be stolen in seconds...

I would get a cable wire lock & tie it around the bike and tie it to a post or something sturdy, so if they don’t let you bring it in and leave it in the lobby it’ll be safe outside. It has a combination lock so you don’t need to worry about losing a key. Here’s the link to one! amzn.to/3wZTrXF

In Virginia I don’t need a license for a moped! Depends on what state you’re in just check the laws ☺️

I’m not 100% sure but I think if you select the non motor vehicle option with would be like a scooter or bike, I wouldn’t think they would need your license.

It may be hot where you are, but I would strongly recommend you buy yourself a pair of leather riding gloves. Remember when you go down on a bike, your natural instinct is to catch yourself, and at that point your hands become road crayons and the results which I have seen firsthand are not pretty. Your hands will be destroyed, trust me.

I am doing that here in Scotland with scooter now and it's better for while I struggle in even in ebike in uphill while carrying a food scooter better and cost me less in petrol

Good video but this title is killing me. It's a scooter. Mopeds have pedals like a bike with a motor. I deliver on a scooter as well. I use a insulated backpack with 4 cup holders on the side. Keep on scootin and please be careful.

Thank you for this video. I have really been contemplating buying a scooter to DoorDash because I would save a ton of gas money. My only concern is drink orders. Sometimes I get four large drink orders in a carrier and I’m not sure how that would work on a moped. Do you have any thoughts about that?
