I like your set up. A fellow here has a similar set up. Bullet proof. Cheaper. Win win

It is possible to swap between a grapple and a processing head quite quickly (for some brands/ models of processor). Some track machines have ended up with 3 joysticks, swap between a grapple and processor joystick at change over. If working in big timber at a machine's limits, the less weight on the end of the stick can be preferable. A small Eltec might be a 'next' machine even as a shovel/ loader.

I run a processor that I load with, shovel ,sort, pile brush and sometimes I fall a few trees here and there. Most things except the processing take a little longer but I rarely ever have a loader with me, I just load as I go

I got sticker shock Pa when you mentioned the price of that Doosan. Then again when you mentioned a new John Deere. Man, that logging equipment is expensive!

It all depends on how big you want to be Dale If you are comfortable where you are you don't need all these big machines and as you say the bigger you get the bigger the job needs to be to make those machines make money which is the end game.

Hello bud. I follow your channel due to me having a sawdust in my blood also. But I pull wrenches for a living. I used to work for a doosan dealer in the states and since left them and now I work for a komatsu dealer. The point is I never liked the doosans due to lack of real functionality. Great engines good hydraulics and terrible electronic routing and wiring quality. Best of luck buddy. Hit me up if you have any questions....

Bought brand new bobcat Doosan very disappointed spent more time in the workshop and got rid of that stinking money pit. Nothing but problems Doosan destroyed Bobcat. Now luckily I kept my old 763 and put her back to work 12000 hours on original motor and pumps and still never has let me down. Wouldn’t buy a Doosan or Bobcat again.
