香港狂想曲 - 2022 演奏版 - Hong Kong Rhapsody 2022 Concert Performance

我寫了《香港狂想曲》獻給香港人! 這是2022 年 11 月 5 日在 Flato Markham Theatre 舉行的'自由狂想曲'音樂會. 雖然2019年場革命已過了幾年, 但係希望大家莫忘初心, 我用我的鋼琴音樂表揚香港人的革命精神, 亦都希望大家唔好忘記現在還受緊苦難的手足, 好多而家先至上庭, 開始被監禁.
"香港狂想曲"用了五首對香港非常有意義的歌曲連串而成, 通過古典音樂創作技巧, 表揚香港爭取自由民主的夢想. Hong Kong Rhapsody is a solo piano work I wrote dedicated to Hong Kongers. This is performance from 2022 Nov 5 Freedom Rhapsody concert at Flato Markham Theatre.

The destiny of Hong Kong is now in the hands of the CCP. Under the British Colony, she has prospered to become the financial hub of Asia. As long as the CCP is in power, Hong Kong will never be reverted to the former state during the colonised era. It is indeed devastating for Hong Kongers. There is practically nothing the citizens of Hong Kong can do to change anything. They are in a "take it or leave it" scenario. The political concepts Hong Kongers are the bipolar of that to the Chinese Nationalities in the mainland.

The illustrious history of Hong Kong under the British Colony came to an abrupt end in 2019. As depicted by the lyrics of this anthem: " stars may fade, as darkness fills the air". The star that used to shine as the pearl of the orient has indeed fallen. Over the 152 years of colonisation, Hong Kong has aplombly emerged as the financial hub of Asia. The success of Hong Kong is completely attributed to her political system under the British. Ironically, their political system is the bipolar to that of the CCP. From the perspective of the CCP, Hong Kong is an insult to them. To a certain extent, Hong Kong poses a challenge to the sovereignty of the CCP in the mainland. It all boils down to Democracy vs Communisim. In terms of geography it is the East against the West. From the humanitarian perspective, a political system devoid of human rights cannot be deemed correct. Yet, the CCP has the audacity to challenge the West with their distorted political ideology.
