I feel so much better knowing someone with a lot of influence has and understands ocd. People act like "it's not that bad" or "it's just in your head" when I do something and explain it's because I have ocd. It's like, "I'm sorry, I didn't realize my mental disorder was nothing more than me over thinking things. Thanks for the advice. I'll just stop thinking about it. So simple." Honestly if the tampon flasks were actually sealed right and wouldn’t spill, it’s a good idea. Most women keep their tampons in either a pocket in their purse or another bag, so they’d do a quick sweep and see nothing wrong. No one’s gonna pick up the tampons to see if they’re heavy

I was diagnosed with OCD & I get so tired of hearing people use that as a joke term. Like if someone cleans something they instantly say they must be OCD.

Same! I didn't realize how hard it was to find someone else who actually has OCD until I started looking. The stuff that really annoys me is coming across videos of people literally just organizing their fridge or closet and saying it's because of their OCD. Like, you don't have to have a disorder to show people how you organize something. It's like saying someone has ADHD because they're always happy and energetic. (Sorry, I didn't mean to go off on that)

hotwheelsbob2000 it depends on the department or even the place of the hospital sometimes. I work at a hospital and majority of the staff here use the same masks or recycle the same ones that we started off with at the beginning of this pandemic until we can get a replacement down the line. We all wear the same mask from the time we clock in to when we clock out cause of the constant shortage, so yeah. Some nurses and doctors change them out, sure, but not all of us are able to.

Excuses, putting a piece of cloth over your mouth and nose won’t deprive you of oxygen. I’ve been wearing a mask for over 15 years for more than 8 hours a day. I’m still alive a no respiratory problems. I could understand may be uncomfortable for anybody but if it prevents other people to get sick the sacrifice is worth it. Stop being selfish people!!
