I'm a former pill addict that hasn't popped or snorted a pill in 11yrs, and seeing those green 80s automatically got my cravings going a little bit... that's crazy! I went from pills to being on Suboxone for 8yrs now 3yrs clean from all of it. Quiting opiates was without question the hardest thing I've ever had to quit in my life... It's not close. I'm still not completely over it
@Deadrum9 ай бұрын
How was getting off the Subs? I’m in the same boat practically, just one step away from where you got to lol. Congrats on that time, that truly is amazing.
@Josh86_9259 ай бұрын
@Deadrum , not gonna lie. Getting off subs was a nightmare. I was on it every day for nearly a decade, and the withdrawal was really sh.tty for the fact it was soooo much longer than a regular opiate withdrawal.. It's not as intense, but it's still sucked. The worst part about the sub withdrawal was the restlessness for sure. I ended up getting the shot for a year once 1 a month. It helped big time. Becuz after the withdrawal then u get the mental withdrawal. Coming off subs will make real depressed
@Josh86_9259 ай бұрын
@Deadrum , you'll get there . The best thing u could do is cut down to 2mgs when u quit. I started on 12, then to 8, then to 4. Surprisingly, going from 4mgs to 2mgs was harder than going from 8mgs to 4.

This hits very close to home. My wife (now x) was in a vehicle accident in 2010 & broke her back. Before & after surgery she was prescribed this medication. Within 6 months she was in a full blown addiction. She went from 1 pill a day all the way up to 10 pills a day. When the prescriptions ran out & no one would prescribe it to her anymore,she began using heroin because it was cheaper to get. Her body,as well as her soul deteriorated away in front of us (myself & our 4 children) she eventually overdosed one night & almost died. Luckily we got her to the e.r. in time to save her life. 1 day she just left,& we haven't seen her since 2013. The divorce was finalized in 2015,after 2 years I couldn't wait for her anymore. I had to raise 4 children (2 girls 2 boys) on my own. To this day none of us know where she is or if she's even alive. My heart is broken. This woman was an amazing person,wife, & mother until this drug entered our lives. My children lost their mother and I lost my best friend & the love of my life to it.
