Props for the great interview. That was illuminating to say the least. Hope the best for Mic and anyone else struggling, no matter what it is.

I’ve got a lot of respect for Mic. I will always wish him good luck and good health, but he had the world by the nuts and he screwed it up… it’s always sad to me as a long time coheed fan to see what happened with him. I’m so glad I got to see them at the Nikon theater in Jones beach the day before his arrest. It was my first coheed show. So thank you Mic for being a part of the most important band to me and your music will always be a huge impact on my life

I was in rehab with Mic in 2006 out in the Hamptons. I was shocked when I heard he robbed a pharmacy.

Man I love Mic T Dawg ....the best bass player for Coheeed.....Zak doesn't have shit on him ,he's good but he's not Mic Todd...I meet Mic Todd in Htown on the Good Apollo tour Vol1, with slipknot as headliner's....he was walking around the Verizon theater building, talking to chicks and doing his thing, I interrupted his play ,but he was cool and gave me his autograph..... definitely a memorable moment....love this dude , he knows how to put on a show .....

I understand what you’re doing here. I’m an addict and I know that stories from people that have somehow made it through are inspiring and helpful to say the least. There weren’t many stories in the 90s about what REAL ADDICTION IS. I don’t know anything (except drugs), but if people are being rude, saying you’re capitalizing on addiction, I for one do not agree. I wish someone scared me straight as a kid.

I was in rehab with Mic around 2007. Once a week the musicians there would jam for all the people there. It was fun being only one of about 20 people to hear his side project. He was in there with this guy Jonah from a band called Vue. I couldn’t believe it when I read he robbed a Walgreens years later. He told me a story in there that one Thanksgiving he had no dope and shot up a syringe of Grey Goose. Can’t imagine what that did to him….

Holy shit I remember the guy he’s talking about from the Hamptons. His “minder”.

That’s amazing! Where annoys was the rehab? I’ve been in treatment more than a few times myself so… idk man hope you’re doing well. Just got 4 months clean from opioids myself. Anyways i would love to meet mic and even though Zach cooper is great still would love to hear mic work out without them someday. Very tasteful bass lines, speakinf also as a drummer myself. Thanks!

@@JordanHowellMusic I was at Long Island Center for Recovery in Hampton Bays with Mike and a dude named Jonah from a band called Vue. I remember mikes sponsor. He was a musician as well. He was kind of a cocky dude.

@@JordanHowellMusic I never heard of Coheed and Cambria while I was there. Mike was cool though. His parents live upstate near my uncle so I had a really good conversation with them. Nice folks. I’m doing pretty good these days. I can’t stop using Kratom though. 🤣

It's insufferable. So many great podcasts are ruined by hosts that can't just let the guests tell their story.

@@DopeyPodcast What a horrible horrible thing to say to someone offering honest advice when you claim to be so humble and accessible to people in the lowest positions in life. I didnt think you were exploitative until I saw this... if youre gonna disrespect people over the word "bro" theres no CHANCE you respect someone in a serious drug addiction.
