I've always liked these Spacejet gondolas. Haven't been on any of the western ones, but I've ridden Cloudsplitter at Whiteface, and Telecabine Express at Tremblant a lot.

They are quite rare. Most Doppelmayr gondolas have Uni-G terminals.

@@utahskilifts1052 In North America, the Spacejet gondolas were built between 1998 and 2000. 1998 was Needles, Strawberry, Mammoth Upper, and Telecabine Express. 1999 was Cloudsplitter and Mammoth Lower. 2000 was Heavenly. So there are 7. Everything after 2000 uses UNI-G terminals.

@@collinparsons3363 Oh yeah, forgot about the Mammoth gondola. I think the Spacejet gondolas are better than UNI-G, as they have a nice detaching and attaching noise. Needles has a nice vault drive up top.

I agree, aside from the abysmally terrible gondola cabins. Ive only been on the tele cabin at tremblant mountain, and it is the most cramped, noisy, and poorly laid out gondola cabins ive ever been on. The spacejet terminals make up for it but I dont know what Dopp was thinking with these cabins

@johnsmeith3913 Whiteface had the same cabins but replaced them in 2020. Tremblant's cabins actually ride a lot smoother than Whiteface's original cabins did. They rattled really bad when passing through depression towers. Tremblant kept the original cabins, despite their gondola having far more hours on it. I wonder if they are planning on replacing the entire lift. Mammoth is planning to replace their gondola eventually.
