Palmer's drive terminal is a Doppelmayr Uni-M model. It has some terminal underskins, but besides that, everything else inside the building is exposed. This makes for a loud drive motor sound, even though Palmer doesn't use any unusual drive motor. I also show some grips detaching here, Doppelmayr DT-104 grips. In the third and final clip, you can see the sheaves have a solid black color to them. This is where the metal plates are located, protecting the sheaves from rime ice during the harsh winters on Mt. Hood.
