Exactly, that was my first association as well. Even their message is based in the same way: Vesna sang about Ukraine, Lelek about Gaza. Only, I think Vesna had a much better song, but Lelek has better vocal abilities.

I think My Sister's Crown was a way better song to be honest, but I can also see the resemblance!

The problem in Croatia is that people do not vote based on ESC potential, but exclusively on personal taste, or performer. For example, Magazin is the most famous Croatian band of all time and solely based on that it stands great chances. Luka Nižetić, although known to the public, already had competed on Dora with similar songs and didn't really achieve much. Baby Lasagna is an exception, completely anonymous person, no one ever heard of him before Dora last year, but other songs last year were straight trash and he gained recognition as a reserve entry. It's gonna be between Bošnjak, Lelek, and Magazin.

This is such a shame because you guys have a very diverse list of songs and it should have been up for grabs for everyone:/ Out of those three I see Bošnjak as the best option with a good staging - but surely Nižetić has a great ESC potential. Znak remains my all time favorite this year ❤

​@@Eurovisionings You are wrong, Ogenj is a small, almost unknown, band in Croatia, unlike Magazin. But Croatia has a pretty good rock scene. That's why people liked this good mix of folk, rock and punk, so they became one of the favorites.
