The Queen of Ska and the legendary Skatalites perform this great classic tune. By the way - the Skatalites also were the backing band for Andy & Joe, who originally performed this song in the 1960s!

The version used for Death in Paradise isn't this one, it's by the Specials. The original version of this is by Andy & Joey with the Skatalites providing the instrumental backing, produced in 1963 - check it out.

@Expostulating .....i sort of like the Specials, along with the other ska/2tone artists of their time, but i was around when the original ska was about, therefore, my preference is with the artists then, any remake of those originals doesnt compare imo, even if its not meant to be close,or the same, i realise theres plenty of people who will disagree with that. its only my own thoughts. Andy & Joeys version is best. not all ska is about love, take the lyrics to this song for instance....
