The fact that a striped out,sequential shifting,reasonably heavy areo rx7 with a roll cage welded into the chassis is a little more than 2/10 faster than what is essentially still a street R34 with basically all the ammenities says alot about just how fast the Mines R34 Skyline really is.

Yeah you can see how perfectly setup it is from the long shots, sitting beautifully flat, no wallowing, but not crashing at any point either. He says to the rx7 crew at the end that the suspension is not right which is why he couldn't stomp the brakes and spends a fair bit of time coasting instead of braking.
