After this was over, Dorinda and Donnie turned around and preached to the adults!! It was FIRE that night!! With Dorinda preaching alone it was 3 hours!! The sermon title was "You Can't Bow Now"!! Man this is how revivals and church services should be!! GLORY!

Well I too am Baptist, but I was brought up Pentecostal too, so I appreciate both denominations. The Holy Ghost is no respecter of person. We've taken our youth to revivals and conventions and stuff, and the Holy Ghost just takes over them!! I mean speaking in tongues, etc...You just can't contain it!! And Dorinda was on FIRE here and so where those kids!!

AMEN!! I do believe that those who speak in an unknown tongue, God understands it. If a person is speaking in tongues and God wanted everybody to know what was said, God would have somebody who had the gift of interpretation stand up and interpret the tongue.

I understand that. But the bible does speak about laying on of hands. In Timothy, Paul discusses to Timothy how he passed that gift of laying on of hands to him. I've also seen it where Dorinda didn't have to touch nobody, the power of the Holy Ghost was just so present and the anointing was all over her that when she passed some of those kids, they just FELL!! That's the POWER of GOD!!

AMEN!! I do believe that for some folks when God's spirit is moving through one of his human vessels and He uses them to lay hands, who knows what will happen. Some folks fall and others don't. But it doesn't mean that it's fake. There are different impartations of the Holy Spirit.

1 Corinthians 14:2. We must remember that those who speak in an unknown tongue speaks not unto MAN, but unto God. However, I do believe at times that tongues can be out of order. Let's keep in mind also when the apostles spoke in tongues, they themselves did not know what they were saying. I do believe there are people who can interpret tongues.

When u don't understand what God is doing it's best not to comment. A lot of folk miss out on what God is doing because they are hindered by their own understanding when the bible says lean not to ur own understanding. When ur not clear about something just ask God for clarity. In Joel 2:28 talks about God pouring His Spirit on all flesh, and My son & daughters will prophesy... He will use whoever He pleases....

People who are not comfortable with the move of God want to put him in a box and tell him who he is, what he can do, and how he can move. His word says his ways are not your ways and his thoughts are not your thoughts. For those that don't believe this is God and want to tell others to read their bible I think they should blow the dust off theirs and read Acts again! God is the same Yesterday, Today, and Forever more, we ARE his disciples and we are called to go out and tell the good news.

Well I'm Baptisticostal!! The conference really has nothing to do with denominations. People from all over the country come out to be apart of the conference. I was there last year and I was blessed to be with Sister Dorinda on that week. The Holy Spirit is no respector of person. It just happens to be at Greater Emmanuel Institutional COGIC.

Yes I have read 1 Corinthians 14. I'm in seminary and have studied Pauls epistles. But I understand what Paul was saying. At the end he says do not forbid speaking in tongues, but things have to be done in order. That was his whole purpose to writing to the Corinthians, nothing was done in order. Like if you were to speak in an UNKNOWN tongue, I'm not gonna get upset because I don't know what you said.
