I am starting to make my own karaoke videos because I find there are a lot of songs people would like to karaoke too but cant seem to find them. same. I'm a contralto and 90% of modern music is just too damn high for me - even Adelle is too high! On the plus side this means I get to sing songs by people like Doris, Judy Garland, Peggy Lee, Vera Lynne, Ella Fitzgerald and Margaret Whiting... so... i mean.. that's not exactly a hardship ;)

@@tashspeak3877 Same here! People want me to sing songs higher than my natural pitch, it's frustrating. I just want to sing songs I feel comfortable singing. But people from my country, *coughs* Philippines *coughs* , don't really appreciate Contraltos that much. They like songs that are belted out. Because talent in singing, for them, equals a high singing voice. Sopranos and Tenors singing pop or RnB in the show business are so famous and sought after. Which is why KZ Tandingan (a singer here in the Philipines), who I believe is now a Mezzo Soprano (something went wrong with her singing voice when she was younger and I think she had gone through surgery, but could never really hit the high notes like she used to after that), amazes me.

Minxiue, there are two dream songs that I would love access to as backing tracks. One is Fiona Apple's 'river stay away from my door' and Blood, Sweat and Tears' "I love you more than you'll ever know". I have tried to make backing tracks for them myself, and have been unsuccessful. So, I don't know if you'd want to, and am more then aware that I might be the only person who'd be thrilled about it....

As I mentioned in my first reply, it is in the key of C major. 3 semitones lower would be A major. I got these backing tracks from a site called karaokeversion and changed them to my key using a software called amadeus pro. You can do this with any other program depending on what you need. If you wish, I could change this karaoke to the key of A and upload it to my channel (with the kind permission of minxiue21 of course), then you can download it and after that I would erase it, since it is not a karaoke of my property.
