I took china painting lessons in 1979. My teacher would not let me paint roses, only wild roses. So I did not paint for 25 years. Then put it aside to quilt. Now I have picked up my paints again. I have watched lots of videos on painting roses and by far you are the one to watch!!!! I love how soft they are. That is what I have been looking for for years. Your gift of explaining the technique is spot on! God has gifted you with a wonderful talent and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing it with the world. I only wished you lived in Iowa!

I don't know when this video was originally made, but if you have more of them, please publish them. China painting is becoming a dying art, one I would hate to see die. We need more instructor's like you. Thank you for sharing this one. Beautiful work.

I stepped away from china painting for a while. I always got my supplies from rynne. Where do you get your supplies now? I love your painting. Thanks for sharing
@meldoates43145 жыл бұрын
Rynne went out of business years ago, Mr. And Mrs. Dallas China, Texas sells paints and supplies, look them up online.

Meld Oates is right - I love Mr. and Mrs. of Dallas. You also might want to check and see if there is a china painting convention near you. They are often held once a year in metropolitan areas. It is a china painter's paradise! There you will have different dealers displaying their wares and you can get the white china blanks, demonstrations, and way too many new colors, tools, and brushes, etc for your pocketbook to be able to survive. At least mine never did! I hope you are still painting since you posted this comment. It truly is beautiful fine art!

Your hand is in the way all the time so cannot see how you are painting. Need to move your hand...
@miniaturehome8 жыл бұрын
It would help if you didn't block the view of what you're doing with your hand. The painting is beautiful, but it's useless for someone who is trying to learn.
