I was on the Venezia in February and I have to say it was beautiful and very different than a normal carnival ship. It was built for Costa in 2019. I’m mostly Italian American and loved it and I’m sure you guys would enjoy it. My only complaint was the cruise port in NY , total chaos and I’m 20 mins from there I’m in Jersey .

Yes the NY cruise port is terrible we’ve cruised out of there many times before we moved! The Venezia does look nice!

Just came across your channel and subscribed. I enjoy your daily videos about cruise news and the occasional funny stuff you both put out. I am long overdue for a cruise. The last time I went on a cruise was back in November 1994 when I was 10 years old. I was on the Carnival Fantasy (now long gone thanks to the "pandemic" and Carnival scrapping their older ships) with my parents. I remembered my cruise experience very vividly. We sailed away from Port Canaveral on the 3 night journey to Freeport and Nassau, Bahamas. The crazy and funny part was my father was into the Nassau Bahamian rum and spirits, stuff that he couldn't find in the states back then. Not sure if it is legal now, but he actually made me carry a few of the boxes of rum into the cruise ship. Long story short, after the cruise and when we got back, there were plenty of pina coladas being drunk. Keep up the good work and can't wait for your adventures on Utopia of the Seas in a few weeks.
