I like listening to your videos but even being a level 100 player it would take a ridiculous amount of goals and training materials to bring all those new characters to GT19, maybe go more into who you took the first time bc we have to use a mix of older players used from other events and a few newer players.

Thank you for this. Much appreciated. I was hoping for more of a discussion for dd7 and dd8. For example, city node dd7 should be peter b, peni, pav, blade and red goblin. Then use those chatacters for dd8. For dd8 city hero, just get the other 2 (thinking oath after i unlock her) to gear tier 18. Raid teams are best for purple iso investment. For dd8 city villain, im thinking 3 from superior 6 at gear tier 18 with carnage.

Battle world will be the way to get a consistent supply of purple iso, right now it’s only available through events and offers

@ these events don’t give enough at all. Idk how people even started it and got Odin. Boilon claims he’s free to play but he has Odin? Same with rayge like wtf how I’m free to play and have skrull but nowhere near Odin and working towards Mephisto. Maybe I’m doing something wrong idk

@ I believe they are MASSIVE hoarders resource wise. I am a frequent viewer of rayge, and what I think he does is just hoard everything. I know he usually only invest in the new tunes and he’s been playing for a bit of time so he has a decent bit of the older teams built up. Last time I saw he had 15k cores and counting waiting for the astral team release, so I try to do what he does. I get what you mean though, the purple iso is hard to get though. If you don’t have a solid alliance/toons built up its hard to scrap together points for the events

Something I would add, when you start to have a lot of raid characters unlocked, since you get so much currency, you can start buying up every character you have already maxed stars with. It will allow you to get so much Ultimus credits that you can easily buy whatever shards in the Ultimus store as they come available for any of the characters you are looking to farm.

I think buying the raid orbs would be even better. Cheaper. As someone said in one of the videos, raid orbs and profit.

@@gramerhellraid orbs are legit the only thing that keep me playing this game, they’re the only things that actually have value for what I’m doing. And I need Shuri orbs so spotlight orbs are pretty dope too. Timed run of DD8 is giving me an aneurysm currently. Global is WILD.

Awesome video! So I don't have apoc unlocked yet. Should I consider unlocking him first before I get to dd7 and would the 4 horseman help me with the lego node in addition to oml? Kinda like a two birds one stone kinda thing or should I upgrade those Legos you suggested in addition to the horseman.

I have the same list for DD9 planning only I have Vahl over Gorr. Vahl will always be a great DD choice and together with Thanos End Game. Endless energy from the exposure batteries. Global I do have full Orchis but will consider Nightclawer over Omega Sentinel. I just unlocked her this month so I wasn't able to test her in my 5th DD7 run but about to on my 6th run today. City we got the exact same I just have no Oath yet. 100% have faith in that team and currently I'm putting Diamond 3s on peni/pav/parker. Just put one on Peni recently. They are so good to not have a D3 at this point so saving up those 280 resources. As for Legendary. I do think most will have a lot of Tech Gear for Doc Oct later down the line. My tech gear is growing from the 100% omega runs So I'm consider OML, Black Cat, GGC, Doc Oct, Shadow King.

Yea, the best characters for DD7 will typically be the best characters for DD8 investment.

as someone that recently came back this is what ive been needing thanks! i assume omega sentinel is purposefully ignored for global bc shes not good in dd? or she not as important for the orchis team. and for blitz store i was told the best value is to spam open orbs is that true? or would it be better to target buy toons one at a time. also not sure if youre aware but the top bar that shows how much gold/energy/shop currency you have is hidden on the video 😅

Best value is to spam the orbs since they give the best ratio of Character Shards to Currency spent. However I would recommend target farming Pav currently for the early game players, then open the orbs to unlock the rest of the characters.

Burn your blitz and raid orbs. It's basically free unlocks and upgrades

Orchis team is really good especially lady deathstrike. But the 1st node us really hard if you have sentinel on the board when archangel is on the field. I then decided to upgrade leader as well and I am very satisfied with the decision. Bcs he clears revive once and calls lady deathstrike for assists

Dr strange and moon dragon are cosmic characters. Im about to level them up to start dd7. Taking them along with annihilator. For global, you won't have the stars for a while and there are better options.

The only one I can MAYBE see is Emma, if you go with Xtream or we get new xmen team, but that is wayy down road, she is in my back pocket if i take forever to get to golbal.

Moon Knight deserves an honorable mention as an expensive city option. His damage is bonkers, he offers control in the form of debuffs, and Peni gives him deflects for extra speed

All of them are besides skrull and apoc. Ultimus and doom were fucking garbage. Kestrel is also absolutely useless

Yea this is pretty much accurate. Its basically just choose whatever character you can that will either A) help you out more in other modes B) you just happen to have the resources for to get Mephisto faster

you dont HAVE to take a 5th into the mythic section! so once you get 4 ready jump in asap! but if you want to bring a 5th for sure doom would help!

I think if you are short on crimson gear then you can go with 4 at the 1st run. I probably do 4 too, and btw Dorm isnt that helpful because the enemy Black Cat can strip your revive once

Also, I just beat DD7 for the second time a couple weeks ago and I have no idea how you have a ton of gold and no training mats. I am the complete opposite. I feel like there are a ton of characters I want to level up and I have about 15k orange, 16k purple, and 7k blue training mats, and only about 50 million gold that I am trying to spend slowly just to see what I am going to need to for Battle World and/or Shadow King trials. I am hammering gold orb nodes instead of training mat nodes like you are.

Ummm, the spider society team is all farmable and is nearly a year old. The orchid members just just had multiple releases for all of those characters. Free to play players have the new ones well into 3* heading to the 4th. You either don’t participate in the games events or you are a brand brand new player and couldn’t during the release. Or a troll. Either way your toxic attitude isn’t needed here.

None of the three, I just think it's unfeasible for FtP to take multiple characters from the same origin in the same section of the Dark Dimensions. So I opted for GRR, Vulture, Noir, Peni and Peter in the cities. Much more balanced in terms of resources. I think balanced suggestions are more beneficial to beginners 🤷

Global = the worse, ive just completed my first DD7 run, ive taken my time i could of taken any toons in really as i had the materials, honestly Cabal with NC and BK did so good for me, but i also took orchis, its a shame every node in DD7 has a power team who blasts through it but global is a nightmare it crippled me for weeks!
